Group interviews run 60 minutes on Thursday nights and are built around team exercises and shared observation, so we can see work-role fit instead of guessing at it. Feedback on who moves to the next round goes out the following Friday.

The rules

How we run this, and what we will never ask.

We only ask about the work: Interviewers ask about skills, judgment, and role fit. We do not ask about protected characteristics, family plans, health, immigration status beyond legal work authorization, or genetic and family medical history.
Nonpartisan by rule: We do not ask your party, your vote, or your candidate, and no hiring decision may consider them. Speaking about civic values is welcome; endorsing anyone is not part of the evaluation.
Accommodations on request: Need captions, extra time, a written alternative to the spoken speech, a different day, or another accommodation? Ask us and we will provide it. Requesting one is never counted against you.
Recording consent: Your 60-second speech is submitted by you, voluntarily. Group interviews are only recorded when every participant is told in advance and consents; anyone may decline and still be evaluated.
What we do with your materials: Your link, speech, and answer are used solely for this hiring round, seen only by the hiring team, retained for one year, and deleted on request. We do not sell or share them, and we do not run background or credit checks at this stage.
The deposit: The $1 registration deposit only screens out bots and bad actors. It is refunded on request with no explanation needed, is never a condition of employment, and is not a fee for a job.
Paid work, honest terms: Every posted role is paid, at or above applicable federal and Michigan minimum wage, with hours, stipend, and end date stated in writing before you accept.
Same process for everyone: One question, one 60-second speech, one 60-minute group session, scored on the same published rubric — with feedback to every candidate the Friday after their interview.
